It's full model and texture, just not audio. Sorry I should have mentioned I'm the mod author. it's work in progress and might always be, because I don't have a complete list of everything in the game that might be considered spider, so i can't ever declare 100 percent they are all gone. but I think I got everything that's obviously spider. a lot of Starfield creatures, in biological terms, are not really spider... but they sure look like one. For instance a lot of the worst offenders only have 6 legs but it's crystal clear it's meant to be an arachnid-type creature.

Nice thanks phone for removing the plural every time I typed spiders and making me sound like an idiot. But yes, I'd say it should be safe enough, been released for a week and no one has come across any spiders I missed, just a bunch of non spider horrible insects, because there's also a nuclear strength version of the mod that replaces insects which don't look like spiders but are still not something I want in my game. Still adding stuff to that almost daily.
