I like the idea of ancient alien artifacts and lost civilizations. The armillary artifacts got me excited, until they linked it to the Starborn. Linking it to living aliens wouldn't have been interesting to me, either. It would've been more interesting if the artifacts opened the way to the ruins of a lost civilization, kind of like finding Shangri-la. Jedi: Fallen Order intrigued me with the ancient Zeffo people and their ties to the wookiees. I enjoyed all the ruins on Zeffo and Kashyyyk. The dark temple on Dathomir also intrigued me. I think the key is mystery. If they tell too much, it kind of ruins it. Finding an alien race might be interesting, I don't know.
