Is there a point to smuggling black market items to places like Neon, Akila or New Atlantis outside of crimson fleet quests, when you can just visit the The Trade Authority on the Key or the Den and not get scanned unlike the other places I mentioned.

Killing Pirates
Environmental resistances cap at 85%.
Particle Beam Weapons like Big Bang and Novalight can cause distortion orbs when you a kill a target which lingers for a while and this will damage anyone including non hostile NPC's in a small area so don't use it places like Neon or New Atlantis unless you want to rack up a large bounty.

Explosive rounds and projectiles don't do bonus headshot/weakspot damage.
Holding down Alt while in the galaxy map shows the name of all the star systems.
You don't need the cutter to get the artefacts out of the rock you can melee, gun bash or shoot it out of the rock. Never have to worry about forgetting the cutter ever again.

^ Even then you can skip that whole fiasco and just go to The Den.
They need a option to hand over the black market goods to the authorities for a finder's fee.

Game needs an in game radio or a least a radio for ships as well.
Need more Laser and Particle Weapons they are bit lacking in variety.
When I really think about most of the cities are disappointing.
Neon felt really tamed.
New Atlantis was too small.
Akila City was was way to small and bland.
Cydonia I didn't mind.
The Key was interesting when I first visited. A guy gets shot and I'm like wow this place is going to be fun. Then no one else got shot, backstabbed or robbed was a bit tamed for a pirate base also a lack of fist fights or shoot outs in the bar was a shame.

Well you can increase the cutters damage with Heavy Weapons and Lasers but the damage is minimal and also so damage can increase with magazine that increases damage with tools like the cutter, arc welder and Rivet Gun.
But I would recommend what Timgerto suggested then you can mod the shit out of stuff.

What hardware have you got?
Shouldn't be trait though maybe lock behind a quest or something like that.
The trait is hardly worth it for an Oblivion Easter egg
Agreed I feel like they just need 2 from each faction and some not in a faction to more interactive and would it be fine. And some of them do feel like they where meant to be fully fledged companions.
^^True but she obviously doesn't see it from that perspective and clearly detests the pirate regardless of her views for the UC.

The Fleet is House Varuuns enemy since they don't believe in the Great Serpent as well so why would she want the money going to them. Since if the fleet gone or weaken to the brink of destruction that means one less enemy to deal with so why help the pirates and have to deal with them later.
And I agree the lack of companions.that interact with the story and conservations as well as companion morality is shit or severely lacking.
