Are there actual spiders in Starfield? Was thinking of buying it on PC but if so I can't. God confound my arachnophobia...
Yeah, that part is unfortunate. Wish they'd add a seed function instead of an unalterable randomizer. I suppose it also makes compiling wiki data difficult.
On the other hand, if you decide to play on a new save you can guarantee your experience won't be the same, which increases the potential replay value.
Yeah, when looking at the timeline of the 2, it's clear they aren't related. In Starfield lore Earth became uninhabitable by 2203 and everyone who hadn't left died.
Also Fallout 4 takes place in 2287 while Starfield takes place in 2330.
I didn't think it would be too high a priority in the modding community.
(Wait, replacing textures? Is it just a texture replacement or is it also a model/animation replacement?)
Oh thank god, I was worried they wouldn't make one. Guess I'm buying Starfield today.
@Lethal blade00 Tell that to the competitive Splatoon 3 community, 30 fps is enough for a shooter game.
I think they might be wondering if it's coming to console in a manner similar to Fallout 4.
@Lethal blade00 with previous games they've stated that CC is usually not strictly canon, but is close to canon. In Starfield the earth lost its atmosphere in 2203 but Fallout 4 takes place in 2287, eliminating the possibility of Fallouts timeline being canonical to Starfield.
Essentially what I'm trying to say is Fallout themed cc will be as canonical as the Doom or Skyrim gear in 4(Cosmetics/items alone aren't usually considered for canonicity I think)
I wouldn't be surprised if Fallout themed items/story came from CC though, they wouldn't have to worry about canonicity that way.
I'm pretty sure that grounded has an arachnophobia mode for people with arachnophobia(Was really nice of the devs)

I play Bethesda games to have fun, not to be creeped out. If I want to be scared, I'll play a horror game.
Honestly would suggest you just go for a PC/Gaming Laptop, in the long run it will serve you better.
(Plus you can access the alleged 29 or so pages of mods already on Nexus.com, which include a mod that turns your flashlights light into Nicolas Cage's face)
The models from the pictures I've seen don't look too much like irl spiders, but a large part of my fear is the way they move, I'll have to find a video of them.
If they're more like spiderants in Borderlands than the spiders in Skyrim then I don't think I'll have a problem.
