1-Of-A-Kind Salvage is a settlement on Niira in the Narion system.
Overview[]
1-Of-A-Kind Salvage is a legal scrapping operation run by Angelo "Gel" Alonso, who named his business after the Freestar Militia's First Cavalry mech unit, which participated in the Battle of Niira against United Colonies forces and built the base that Gel and his crew now occupy. Gel's scrappers are an independent crew authorized by the Freestar Collective to dismantle wrecked mechs and ships on Niira for useful parts and materials.
The Salvager's Yard consists of a converted workshop overlooking a battlefield littered with mechs and the remains of the ship UC Syracuse. Gel's crew and other scrappers seeking to strike it rich must contend not only with Niira's radiation contaminated environment, but also illegal scrappers such as Ecliptic and Spacers, and packs of rogue UC xenoweapons known as Sirens. 1-Of-A-Kind Salvage relies on an automated turret system to keep the Sirens away from the facility.
