Anasko Va'ruun is the Speaker of the Great Serpent, head of House Va'ruun.
Anasko Va'ruun succeeded as leader of the House Va'ruun theocracy following the death of his father Jarek Va'ruun in 2298. Publicly, he continued his father's policies, supports the armistice agreement and condemning the actions of the Zealots.
In 2302, Anasko was able to obtain a hint from fragmentary information in the House Dul'kehf archives regarding the location of a secret laboratory. There, experiments with gravity generators had been conducted under the direction of his grandfather Jinan Va'ruun. The player must visit this laboratory during the Exhuming the Past mission. Based on this information, Anasko began conducting his own experiments.
