Progression and Strategy[]
Astrophysics isn't hard to level: move, scan, repeat as needed.
Astrophysics can be useful, but is a bit niche. Discovering planetary traits reduces the time needed to survey the planet once the player lands, and long distance scanning reduces travel requirements. Astrophysics shines when scanning high level systems from far away to avoid painful dogfights the player may or may not be equipped for. Outside of that, it's simply not that strong.
The Scanning skill has a similar role as Astrophysics, but is less specialized. It will be more useful the player most of the time.
