Progression and Strategy[]
Boost Pack Training is easy to level in normal gameplay. A player could power level boost pack training by simply jumping around while being engaged, but there is usually no need to do so unless the player is sitting on a lot of skill points.
At least 1 level of Boost Pack training is a must-have skill for Starfield. This is for 0 g environments on ships and star yards that the player may encounter. Other than that, it is useful for breaking falls to prevent fall damage, or simply a faster way to get around by boosting past ladders and staircases. Boost packs are also very useful on low-G planets, where the boost can take a player high and far. In contrast, the boost pack is much less useful in high-G environments, where it rapidly expires. All things considered, however, Boost Pack Training is one of the most useful skills in the game regardless of play style.
