Commander Natara is the serving commander of the UC Navy research starstation of SY-920.
Background[]
After Project Archangel on UC research starstation SY-920 ended in a catastrophy with a pilot dying in a prototype, MAST decided to send commander Natara to investigate the sitiuation. The commander quickly discovered the poor leadership and lack of discipline of the current commander Woods. She would then take over command of starstation SY-920 to bring it back on track.
Unlike her predecessor, Commander Natara held a high focus on security[1] and administration. Under her command, security checkpoints were set up all over the station to ensure proper security,[2][3] and proactive measures were taken against those suspected of not properly following their duties.[4]
She also worked to remedy the suspicious budget activities which occurred under her predecessor,[5] cutting back on research projects unless they provided a roadmap to completion.[6] New projects were also subjected to stricter requirements before they could get approved.[5]
