Crew are recruitable non-player characters that can join the Spacefarer on their journeys or be assigned to work on ships or at outposts.
Crew Roster[]
The Crew Roster can be found by selecting Crew from the Ship menu on the start screen. The roster lists all current crew members recruited by the Spacefarer, their current assignments, and their skills. The roster is also used to reassign crew members. Crew members' skills will be highlighted if they are being used at their current assignment. For instance, if Andromeda Kepler is assigned to an outpost, her Outpost Engineering skill will be highlighted, but if she assigned to a ship, her Piloting and Aneutronic Fusion skills will be highlighted.

Constellation Crew Members[]
Several members of Constellation can be recruited as crew members. If chosen as followers, Constellation members will make comments about the environments they are in while walking around and may interject during dialogue with other non-player characters to offer their advice or opinions. Constellation crew members (other than Vasco) are also potential love interests for the Spacefarer and their affinity towards the Spacefarer may increase or decrease based on the actions they take in the crew member's presence. While each Constellation member have different personality, they all share disdain towards injustice and heinous acts, while appreciating compassion and humanity. Showing your support in their personal struggles is also never lost on them.
Additional Named Crew Members[]
In addition to members of Constellation, the Spacefarer can meet and recruit other non-player characters to join their crew. These additional crew members can engage in dialogue with the player, but do not seem to make additional observations about the world or interject during other dialogue scenes.
