The Derelict Clemen's Truth is a derelict ship found adrift in a random encounter.
Background[]
There is a “ship” mark on the system map; upon arriving at the location, you find a damaged ship. Having docked and boarded, you find the bodies of believers in the interior of the ship; on the table and next to the bodies you can see packages of Orange Juice of Transcendence. There are invitations on the bodies of believers, some have notes and keys. In the cockpit lies the body of the head of this cult of the Children of Comet Clemens, the Star Child, on his body is a note and a key to the storage room with safes at the rear of the ship. Some safes are opened with keys from the bodies of believers, some are empty, some can be lockpicked.
Clemens & The Comet refer to Samuel Langhorne Clemens a.k.a. Mark Twain, 19th century author & humourist, who "came and went with the comet"; Halley is the only known short-period comet that is regularly visible to the naked eye from Earth, and thus the only naked-eye comet that can appear twice in a person's lifetime as it did with Sam Clemens, appearing every 75 years.
This encounter is supposed to be a reference to the real-life death cults, Heaven's Gate and Jonestown Massacre.
