Dr. Gabriel Vogel is a researcher of the United Colonies aboard the SY-920 military starstation in Starfield.
Background[]
Considered a brilliant scientist by Commander Natara, Dr. Vogel is noted as being hard to communicate with and maintaining poor documentation,[1] with even his own subordinates having trouble understanding him.[2]
He leads the ComSpike project aboard SY-920,[3] which he and his team argued was worthy of priority over other research projects due to the value held in having knowledge of enemy plans.[4] In order to speed up research into the ComSpike, Dr. Vogel split the project in two - one led by the scientists and another by the engineers, out of a belief that the competition would produce better results.[5]
