Progression and Strategy[]
Environmental Conditioning should be easy to level for any exploration-minded players. Simply find a hazardous planet, land, and walk in any direction. Bring lots of medical supplies, as the challenges may require multiple rounds of healing.
There are a lot of hazardous environments in Starfield, mostly planet surfaces. That said, this skill isn't particularly strong. The resistance gained can just as easily be gained from swapping or modding space suits. Modding suits isn't difficult or expensive, and the player will usually acquire many spacesuits during normal gameplay. When compared to suits, however, this skill has the advantage of being balanced across the board, where most suits resistances are specialized in one or two areas. This skill can be best thought of as an "insurance" skill, where the player invests skill points to not get screwed, rather than to become more powerful. Unless a player is an all-in explorer, there are better choices available for the player to invest their Skill Points. That said, if the player is dedicated to surveying lots of planets, this skill could be very useful over time.
