Escape from the Endless Voyage is a miscellaneous mission obtainable on the ECS Constant.
Background[]
This mission can be kickstarted by the activity "Speak with Janet” if the activity is obtained, though the activity is optional and simply speaking with Janet can trigger this mission.
"Janet Yang hates her situation, being stuck on board the ECS Constant as it roams the galaxy looking for a new home to settle. I'm going to try to help her by negotiating with Captain Brackenridge to let her go.

Walkthrough[]
When you speak with the captain, you can persuade her, or you can offer her 50 potatoes to offset the food shortage for Janet leaving. You cannot recruit Janet.
If you ask her some questions about her future plans and her sister, she will explain that she will head to New Atlantis first. She overheard one of the engineers talking about it, and it seemed like a good place to begin, and to find a job that doesn't involve farming. As far as her sister, she is confident her sister won't leave with her (Janet even asked her and she said no), but she figures she will visit Julia from time to time regardless. She thanks you for everything.
