Fitness is a Novice Physical Skill that increases the Spacefarer's maximum oxygen.
It is a Starting Skill for the Beast Hunter, Bouncer, Soldier, and Xenobiolgist backgrounds.

Progression and Strategy[]
The easiest way to level fitness is to sprint a lot. Most players do this anyway, so this isn't a hard skill to level.
Fitness fits nicely into the “nice to have” skill area, though it can be very strong in melee builds. However, as melee builds generally aren't very strong, most players will use fitness for getting through relatively peaceful areas (such as cities) faster. This isn't worthless, but it isn't strong either. There is also the 'run for your life' use for fitness, but this shouldn't be too important most of the time. Fitness is a decent skill, but not necessarily powerful.
Fitness partners well with Gymnastics or Boost Pack Training for player mobility, or any of the melee skills for melee damage output.
