- Talk to Vladimir
Detailed Walkthrough[]
Vladimir will give you two planets with potential Artifacts on them. They are chosen at random. Travel to each planet and retrieve the Artifacts. They will be located at a random POI (point of interest), these are also randomized.
Be aware that Starborn may now appear each time you approach an Artifact or receive a power from a temple.
Return to The Lodge and add the Artifacts to the Artifact collection. Matteo will reflect on how far you have come, if this is all worth it, and describe how he is feeling. Noel will be shocked that Matteo is having a crisis of faith, and remind Matteo of the purpose of Constellation. Vladimir will interrupt the conversation. He needs assistance doing some vital maintenance on The Eye: installing console parts, replacing burnt out wires, and fixing the intercom between the Eye and the Lodge. If you agree to help, Vladimir will let you know that a few members of Constellation have already headed up to The Eye to assist with the maintenance and the mission will conclude.
- If you have the Starborn trait, you can inform Vladimir on what is to come through a dialogue option. This is described below in the Notes/Trivia section to avoid spoilers for the next mission.
Rewards[]
- Levelled credits
- Random aid items
- 750 XP
Notes[]
- If you inform Vladimir about the impending attack from the Starborn in advance, instead of receiving the mission Short Sighted, you will receive a different mission: Foreknowledge. This mission has a different progression. Vladimir will tell you to pack up the Artifacts to keep the Starborn guessing.
