The GalBank Stormrider is a neutral class-C ship operated by GalBank in Starfield.
Overview[]
GalBank Stormrider is a variant of Stormrider ship, operated by GalBank. It can be encountered randomly in most systems and is not hostile towards the player.
Being a large ship with high hull rating, strong shields and formidable selection of weapons, Stormrider is a strong opponent.
Attacking GalBank Stormrider results in bounty of 650 credits being put on player in United Colonies. Boarding it and killing the crew results in multiple 15000 credits bounties in quick succession. If player is traveling with Constellation or UC companions, attempting to capture GalBank Stormrider will result in extremely negative reaction. When traveling solo however, accumulated bounties with exception of original 650 credits one will be cleared once all crew is eliminated and no other negative consequences persist after taking over a ship.
Despite being GalBank ship, Stormrider does not transport exceedingly large amount of credits. Player can expect to loot roughly 20k credits between cargo hold, captain's stash and crew bodies loot. The ship can then be registered normally and then sold for over 40k credits.
Being a C-Class ship, Stormrider requires Level 4 Piloting skill.
Acquisition[]
GalBank Stormrider can be acquired by capturing it during random encounter. Alternatively, non-GalBank variant of Stormrider is avaialble to purchase in New Atlantis Spaceport.
