Dr. Hayden Wynn is a deceased UC Xenowarfare Division researcher in Starfield.

Background

Not much is known about the past of Hayden Wynn, other than his parents wanting him to go to dentist school and him having a girlfriend named Amanda.

On january 13th 2306, Dr. Wynn started out as an Associate Xenobiology Technician when the United Colonies Xenowarfare Division was started by the Military, Administrative and Scientific Triumvirate. By august first, Dr. Wynn was promoted to Senior Xenobiologist and gained the authority to run an entire research facility - in part due to the role he played in altering the NCI to where it could effectively control the Kreet Stalker.

When the secret facility of Dr. Wynn opened on the Freestar Collective planet of Kreet, in the Narion system, Dr. Wynn compared Project Petshop - the name given to his research - to the Manhatten Project, claiming that xenowarfare was the evolution of ground conflict. He thought about research into using Heatleeches as weapons, though lacking the means to do meaningful research on the creatures.

Death

On august 15th, 2310, UC Marines brought in a Terrormorph - a deadly beast which had slain six of the eight UC Marines involved in capturing it, with one of the surviving Marines having lost a leg. Seeing its potential, Dr. Wynn was excited to get started. Five days later, the research time sedated the creature and attempted to place a Neural Control Interface, or NCI.

The Terrormorph would break containment when the research team attempted to sync the NCI, killing three of the researchers in a minute and taking off deeper into the facility. Trying to contain the situation, Dr. Wynn made a run for the comm relay only to find it trashed. In a last attempt to save his colleagues, Dr. Wynn made a call over the announcement system, warning the research team that the Terrormorph was loose. Unfortunately, before he could finish his warning he was ambushed and killed.
