Detailed Walkthrough[]

Return to the Lodge. Noel says the Eye has gone completely dark; Vladimir calls back reporting that a Starborn “came out of nowhere”, attacked the Eye, and is en route to the Lodge. The Starborn, identified as the Hunter, contacts the Lodge, proclaiming that Constellation’s “part in glimpsing the Unity is over”. Vladimir warns that the Hunter is out for their Artifact collection and advises the Constellation members in the Lodge to hide it. The player is now offered a choice: stay and defend the Lodge, or go to the Eye and check up on everyone there.

Defend the Lodge[]

If the player stays in the Lodge, after a short while Walter can be heard choking upstairs. The player is then tasked with checking on Walter, upon which the Hunter reveals himself, knocks down Walter, and fights the player and Constellation members present. The Hunter disappears after taking enough damage, and everyone escapes with the Artifacts via an old escape tunnel that leads to The Well. The player must reach their ship in the Spaceport, fighting off or evading an endless onslaught of multiple Hunters, and fly to the Eye where they discover the death of their highest-affinity companion assigned there during Short Sighted.

Go to the Eye[]

As the player approaches the door, one of their companions will inform them that they won’t be able to get back in as the door will be barricaded. Everyone on the Eye is alive, albeit injured, but when the player returns to the Lodge they are greeted with the death of their highest-affinity companion that was not on the Eye during Short Sighted.

Regardless of the player's choice, they must talk to Noel and learn that, to protect the Artifacts, they must build the Armillary on their home ship or in an outpost. Causing various Starborn to attack, sometimes depending on where the Armillary is. Back at the Lodge, Matteo tells the player that he has heard the word “Unity” before, and suggests going to Sanctum Universum to find out more, starting Unity.
