Walkthrough[]

Once you get the mission, Sarah will become un-dismissable. Proceed to New Atlantis and MAST to speak with Admiral Pascual Logan. After a bit of a heated argument, the Admiral is convinced to share some intel regarding the UC mission to retrieve Sarah, after which one must head to Cassiopeia I.

Upon landing at Sarah's Crash Site, one has to talk to her about how it is to be back on the planet where she was rescued from before proceeding to the campsite proper. At the campsite, Sarah will state how a military-grade Dauntless Power Cell in order for the computer on the shuttle to work, so she recommends heading up to her improvised communications beacon where she initially contacted the freighter which led to her rescue.

Up at the platue, three Hunting Stonewalker Stalkers will ambush Sarah and the player, being masked by their rocky appearance. With their high health, damage, and high protection, they can prove challenging. After defeating the creatures, take the power cell and return to the shuttle. Enter the shuttle, place the power cell and access the computer to find out information about the other shuttles.

Due to the great distance between Sarah's shuttle and the other one that landed, a quick journey with a spacecraft is needed to get to the next site: the Dauntless Crew's Crash Site. Once there, pass through a cave system to see some wreckage of the shuttle, and follow the path further to an improvised home made from shuttle parts.

Upon entering, a child will aim at the itruders and demand to know who you are, You'll soon learn she is the daughter of the survivors and her name is Sona, and that she became untrusting due to pirates of the Crimson Fleet abusing her trust before. Afterwards, Sarah will want to speak again and instruct you to go collect the genetags at the graveyard, mentioning there might be hostile lifeforms there.

The path to the graveyard is inhabited by Coralbug Scavengers, with a total of seven of the creatures encountered before the graveyard is secured. After collecting 9 Genetags, a Greater silverfish and a Lesser silverfish attack, with the 10th genetag being carried by the Greater Silverfish. Holding all ten of the genetags, return to Sarah and Sona.

When you enter the cabin Sarah will be in the middle of an argument with Sona, the latter does not want to leave the planet, claiming this is her home no matter what. Sona will listen to you whether you steer the conversation one way or another. Sarah will like it if you convince Sona to leave, and dislike it if you convince Sona to stay. Sarah will then speak with you once more and ask to say something to you at the overlook you passed on the way there. Sarah will tell you how great you have been, and you will soon be back on your way to Jemison, and Admiral Logan.

Once in New Atlantis you'll be directed to Admiral Logan, have a brief talk with him, and then you'll have to get to The Lodge to speak to Sona. She will be thrilled to be in The Lodge. Afterwards you have one more stop to go, to the Colony War memorial. She'll briefly speak to you then she'll want to discuss your feelings, if any, at the waterfall. To reach it you'll need to take the elevator at the spaceport, behind Jemison Mercantile. Once up there you'll get to choose between being friends or romance her and the mission will end.

Journal[]

  • I've been asked by Sarah Morgan to help discover the fate of the crew of the UC Dauntless, a ship she commanded and was lost during the Colony War. To begin, we should speak to Admiral Logan in New Atlantis, who might have the information we need.
  • After confronting Admiral Logan, Sarah and I have discovered that her crew was lost at a specific site on Cassiopeia I. We should proceed there to begin our investigation into the fate of her crew.
  • Sarah and I have landed on Cassiopeia I, near the campsite where her own shuttle crashed years ago. I should speak to her to begin investigating how to track down the second crash site, the location of her crew.
  • The telemetry data for Sarah's crew's crash site is within her former shuttle's wreckage. I'll need to find an Emergency Power Cell to bring her old computer back online.
  • With the power to Sarah's old shuttle partially restored, Sarah and I were able to locate the telemetry data and pinpoint her former crew's crash site. We should return to our ship and proceed there to continue the investigation.
  • The young girl has turned out to be Sona, the daughter of two of the UC Dauntless's crew who had her while being marooned on this world. Sona's told us that all of the crew, including her parents, died and were buried nearby.
  • After a short discussion, Sarah has decided to remain with Sona while I retrieve the UC Dauntless's crew's genetags from their makeshift graves. We intend to bring the genetags back to MAST to close the book on these lost soldier's lives.
  • Upon returning from the gravesite, I've found Sarah and Sona at an impasse. Sona wants to remain behind on her world, while Sarah wishes to bring her back to New Atlantis. I'll have to decide which option to choose.
  • I've decided t hat Sona should return back to Jemison with us. I should now speak to Sarah before we return to New Atlantis.
  • After speaking with Sarah, we've decided to return to New Atlantis and close the chapter on the fate of the UC Dauntless's crew by speaking once again to Admiral Logan.
  • After speaking with Admiral Logan, Sarah's requested to visit the Colony War Memorial in New Atlantis. I should proceed with her there as soon as I can.
  • After speaking with Sarah at the Colony War Memorial in New Atlantis, she's suggested we speak about something of a more personal nature near the waterfall in New Atlantis.
  • Sarah and I have spoken about our relationship and agreed we both share a strong, romantic bond between us./Sarah and I have spoken about our relationship and decided it would be best if we remained as best friends.
