- Jack has been a bartender for forty-five years, and takes his job very seriously and with pride. While running Broken Spear, he makes it a point to tell the Spacefarer that he is confident in what they sell and does not believe in mixed drinks like what Neon and New Atlantis provide. He trusts their customers and his customers trust him in return, and when the Spacefarer says that they are aware, Jack implies that if the Spacefarer wants to continue to be a patron in Broken Spear, they better not push their luck.
- During The Old Neighborhood, Jack can be persuaded to reveal what he knows about Moara Otero. His initial asking price is 7,500 credits, but if some dialogue from Sarah Morgan is selected, this is able to be lowered to 1,000 credits. Jack does not like it when the Spacefarer tries to appeal to emotions, and can be seen getting visibly frustrated with the player and their companion. Due to Moara's tab being astronomically high, he would be out a lot of money if that tab is not paid. Jack says the only reason Moara got a free pass was because he was a regular in his bar. For the right price, Jack shares his intel, even though Sarah is not pleased with the amount of information given for the credits paid.
