Walkthrough[]
After hearing Sergeant Yumi needs volunteers, go to the UC Security Office at the New Atlantis Spaceport and speak to him.
You can also visit the security office in the spaceport unprompted and speak to Sergeant Yumi to begin this quest.
Yumi will direct you to Agent Plato to recover a package.
Go to the Mast District and take the MAST elevator to the Aegis Bureau, where you'll meet Agent Plato. He will jest, then tell you there's a possibly compromised dead drop. Your task is to recover the package and bring it to Sergeant Yumi. The package is under a bench at the GalBank ATM, in the spaceport. The ATM is immediately to your right as you exit the NAT.
Once you get the package, bring it to Sergeant Yumi to complete the quest.

Notes[]
- On delivering the package to Sergeant Yumi, he makes a comment that it is very difficult to get decent help these days, but luck is turning around. He accredits the influx of new, high quality recruits to a sign that UC Security put up.
- If you have the Extrovert trait, you receive a unique dialogue option when discussing the new sign. Yumi responds to this selection by telling a story about a recruit “bred to be UC Security”. However, the recruit lacked initiative.
- The dialogue prompt (referring to the sign) is: “[Extrovert] It's a good way to find people with initiative.”
- If you have the Extrovert trait, you receive a unique dialogue option when discussing the new sign. Yumi responds to this selection by telling a story about a recruit “bred to be UC Security”. However, the recruit lacked initiative.
- After completing this quest, Yumi unlocks new dialogue in reference to your position at UC Security.
- “If it isn't my favorite part-time security officer.”
- "Crime has slowed down since you started helping out, which is good for morale.”
- "Officer.”
- Around 6 local hours after completing this quest, you will be prompted (by UC Security or someone else) to go talk to Yumi, as he mentioned he needs your help. This will trigger an activity, "Talk to Yumi”. Talking to Yumi will trigger the second quest for UC Security named A Break at Dawn.
