The Kepler R is a ship in Starfield.
Overview[]
The Kepler R ship (Class C) is one of two possible rewards that can be obtained for completing "Overdesigned " quest. This side quest is given by Walter Stroud after completing the main quest "All That Money Can Buy". Other reward - Class B ship Kepler S.
Acquisition[]
You will receive Kepler R as a reward if you fulfill all conditions for getting ship: in dialogue with lead designer Jules select the “larger budget (kitchen sink}” option, complete both 2 optional marketing mission, speak to design leader after that and chose "compromise" or inspire design team during meditation.
Subjectively, I advise you to go ASAP through story missions until the All That Money Can Buy point, which unlocks Overdesigned. No problem to obtain bounty hunting mission, but passenger transport missions often pop up at low levels, but it wasn't easy to catch one at 60+.
