The Mako is a ship in Starfield.
Overview[]
Mako match to its name: fast, agile, can painful bite with sharp teeth. This is a very small fighter ship, the interior consists of one Control Station 2x1 hub, a Cockpit and a transitional Storeroom 1x1 between them. Born with the goal of dogfighting in space. The reactor installed on the basic version of the ship can almost completely provide the systems with energy for combat, with a slight deficit. Spacers use a repainted Mako called Raccoon, which is absolutely identical.
HopeTech produces the ship with a similar concept called Watchdog, but its performance is noticeably inferior, only Watchdog IV with its 3 engines comes close to the Mako. But it’s worth considering that the Watchdog costs half as much as the Mako and is cheapest premade ship in the game (but you can make an even cheaper one in the ship designer).
Acquisition[]
Mako and its version may randomly appear for sale at ship merchants in Neon, Paradiso and New Atlantis. Spacer Raccoon version can be boarded in combat.
