Martial Arts is an Expert Physical Skill.[1] It improves unarmed and melee combat.
Ranks[]
Rank | Challenge | Bonuses |
---|---|---|
1 | Deal 250 damage with unarmed attacks. | 15% increased chance to crit with a melee or unarmed attack. |
2 | Disarm 10 enemies using melee or unarmed attacks. | 15% chance to disarm an opponent with a melee or unarmed power attack. |
3 | Disarm 30 enemies using melee or unarmed attacks. | While unarmed or wielding a melee weapon, take 10% less damage. |
4 | N/A | Reflect 50% damage back when blocking a melee or unarmed attack. |
Progression and Strategy[]
The player will simply need to fight unarmed, and do so frequently. Many of the challenges are probability-based, so progress may not be fast.
Martial Arts is relatively balanced set of bonuses with extra damage output, reducing damage taken, and manipulating enemies. However, Martial Arts is centered around the hand-to-hand playstyle, which is usually suboptimal. Still, if the player wants to commit to the meme, Martial Arts is a must-have. If the player is using melee weapons, Martial arts can also be very strong.
Martial Arts synergizes with Boxing and Neurostrikes for an unarmed player or Dueling for an armed melee player. It has little to no use for a ranged weapon player.
