Detailed Walkthrough[]
Bugs[]
The battle against the Dumas is glitched. If you board the ship and neutralize the captain (the crew doesn't count), even non-lethally, Sam will hate it (even if he's the one giving the killing blow) and you will get a 15k bounty in UC systems. If you chose to blow up the ship without boarding it, not only will you get the 15k bounty, but Sam and any constellation's member on board will hate it and order you to come speak to them about your actions.
Also, If you chose to destroy the ship without boarding it with only Sam present, not only will he hate it, but also, the letter allowing you to pursue the quest will not appear in the wreckage and the marker will just point to the "unknown".
On the PC version this glitch can be bypassed by using console commands to kill the captain when boarding the ship. Doing so will forfeit any achievements for that save.
