Progression and Leveling[]
As long as the player is well stocked in medical items and does ground combat, leveling Medicine is easy. The player may or may not run out of these medical items often in the early game.
As Med Packs, Trauma Packs, and Emergency kits are usually the primary source of healing for players, this skill can be very powerful throughout the game. Medicine is a solid skill choice, regardless of playstyle. As not dying is very important in Starfield, it's hard to go wrong with strong healing. Players might also consider Wellness as an alternative, as medical items heal by a percentage of total health so the effects are similar. The only exception is if the player needs a reliable damage output, in which case they should go for a damage-oriented skill instead.
Note: Healing items is a limited subset, not anything the gives health. Med packs will increase this count.
