Mitchell is a commander serving in the armed forces of the United Colonies. She is a strong proponent of military intervention, believing that many problems would be solved if the United Colonies deployed their Marine units more often. She also believed that diplomacy would fail every time, and that the Marines would be left to mop up any residual mess.
By 2330, Mitchell served within the MAST Building within the city of New Atlantis, posted to the same floor as the offices of the UC Navy and United Colonies Army.
