Mom is the Spacefarer's mother. She and Dad can be found in their apartment in Pioneer Tower in New Atlantis if the player selected the Kid Stuff Trait.

Mom and Dad moved into a New Atlantis apartment years ago, when the Spacefarer was still living with them. Before that, they and the Spacefarer moved frequently from colony to colony, living in various places across the Settled Systems. They left the Spacefarer's room in the apartment untouched.
Mom is impressed to learn that the Spacefarer has quit Argos Extractors and joined Constellation, which she learned about years earlier when the exploration group was more widely known, and affirms that she always knew the Spacefarer was destined for great things.
