Progression and Strategy[]
As placing outposts is free, building a bunch of bare minimum outposts is easy and inexpensive, though it may be a bit time consuming. Planetary Habitation has two main uses:
- Building lots of Outposts
- Building Outposts on dangerous hellscape planets
Outposts can serve many purposes. Being able to build a ton of them or building them anywhere can serve several purposes. However, most of the other outpost skills are more impactful. Outposts often require significant investment before they are useful, and building a bunch of underdeveloped Outposts is a bit counter-intuitive. Unless there is a hostile planet where the player really wants to build an Outpost, they probably have better choices.
