Power from Beyond is a main story mission in Starfield. It starts after Into the Unknown. It is the mission that leads you to each Temple. This mission can be repeated a maximum of 23 times (see Notes/Trivia section for spoilers).

Detailed Walkthrough[]
First go speak to Vladimir OR Enter a Star System with a Temple.
Travel to the specified planet and land at the "Scanner Anomaly" Location
Use your Hand scanner to locate a distortion, the HUD will flash and distort if you're facing the right way, follow that distortion to a Temple
Once in the temple, float to the light bubbles 5 times to activate the Circle then get in it to get your Power.

Notes/Trivia[]
- This mission "feels" like a radiant mission, but it can only be done a maximum of 23 times in one playthrough (One NG+ version/universe). Into the Unknown has you visit 1 temple (granting you one power or power level up). The remaining 23 temples are visited via the Power From Beyond mission repeating over and over until all possible temples have been visited in that universe (NG+ run).
- This mission can therefore be done 230 times over 10 NG+ runs if you do 23 temple runs in every NG+ instance. This will give you the maximum of 24 powers which are all at level 10 (level X in roman numerals).
- You can only receive a new Power From Beyond mission AFTER you retrieve a relevant Artifact (Alpha-Zeta). Each Artifact you retrieve will open up the possibility for an additional Temple to be visited (in the matching Alpha-Zeta fashion).
- The mission is either automatically added to your log, or triggers when entering a Star System with a Temple, skipping the "Talk to Vladimir" step.
- Multiple versions of this mission can be active at once.
- Fastest method to completing this mission (power grinding): Get planet from Vladimir, immediately fast travel to planet, land at scanner anomaly, exit ship, take REV to temple, acquire power/power upgrade, immediately fast travel to the Eye, dock, and speak to Vladimir again
- After you finish the mission Starborn, Starborn Guardians will begin to spawn after you acquire your power/power upgrade. They will drop quantum essence when you kill them.
