Red stinging nettle exists in the hills and wetlands of Niira. Its woody stems give way to an array of yellow- and brick-colored leaves. At the heart of these shrubs are three large seed pods, each bearing 17 seeds. The seed pods themselves have a dark purple exterior with a brown interior. Despite its name, red stinging nettle does not appear to "sting" or cause any damage to those that come into contact with it— at least not humans. This name could be due to an effect it has on those that try to consume it, such as local wildlife.
