Reliable Care is a Miscellaneous mission in Starfield.
Background[]
Upon interviewing Talia O'Shea in the quest Primary Sources, she will explain the Medbay is experiencing an uptick in sick children in the Medbay. They all seem to be presenting the same symptoms, but she cannot identify the cause. She asks the Spacefarer if they can assist with resolving this issue.
Objectives[]
- Speak to Nurse O'Shea at the Medbay
- Visit Dr. Lebedev at Reliant Medical
- Return to Talia
Detailed Walkthrough[]
Speak with Talia O'Shea in The Medbay: offer your help into solving the issue with the sick children. She will explain that all the children seem to be coming down with the same stomach bug, but she is having trouble diagnosing it (pediatrics is not her specialty). The illness isn't serious enough to kill the children, but her lack of a treatment for the disease is causing her some concern. She directs you to one of her colleagues, Dr. Lebedev. She thinks that with his research notes, she can surely diagnose the disease and find a treatment. If you inquire further, she explains that Dr. Lebedev works “topside” at Reliant Medical.
After speaking to Talia, face towards the outside of the Medbay. Turn left and head to the large elevator at the end of the hall, which will take you up to the “MAST Tram Station” (MAST NAT Station). Walk out of the elevator and head up the ramp to the right. Follow the right-hand path around to Reliant Medical.
Within the medical center is a door to the Doctor Office/Diagnosis Room. Go through this door to find Dr. Alexei Lebedev. Speak to him. He will be shocked that there is a medical problem that Talia cannot solve. He will then upload data to a data slate named “Dr. Lebedev's Research Notes” containing possible pediatric stomach bugs.
Return to the Medbay in the same method you came. Head outside the door and straight to the MAST NAT Station, then down the elevator. Walk down the hallway in the Well, and the Medbay will be on your right.
Once you return to Talia, provide her with the data slate. She will thank you for the research notes, and explain this will help her find a cure swiftly. She will then provide you with a reward.
