Renee Shelby is one of the few children who lives in Cydonia. She lives in apartment A12 in the Luxe Condominiums with her parents, both of whom work in the mines. Her grandparents are still alive and live in New Atlantis.
She likes to draw things and give them to people to make them smile. Her favorite character is 'Space Frog From Outer Space', a frog who lives in space and goes around to different planets helping people who are sad or need help. One day, she hopes to leave Cydonia and live on a little planet of her own.[2]
Renee is friends with Taye Imani who lives on the floor above her.
