Detailed Walkthrough[]
Go to Masada III. You will have to fight whoever you didn't side with in space. If you sided with neither The Hunter nor The Emissary, you will need to fight them both. Once you get them to low health, they will retreat, and the battle will continue on the ground. Land on Masada III.
Once you land, you will notice that the Ecliptic and robots there have been completely annihilated. Head towards the bridge.
The first Starborn guardian you will face is Guardian Musa. He will make multiple copies of himself (Parallel Self) to fight you. Defeat Musa and proceed further towards the temple. Next you will face off against Guardian Athaliah. Athaliah will raise the Ecliptic (Alien Reanimation) from the dead to fight you. Focus on Athaliah. As soon as Athaliah dies, the Ecliptic soldiers will too. You will need to find the Ecliptic Base ID Card to access the Ecliptic base.
Enter the Ecliptic base and proceed through each room. You can read a security terminal for a little insight into the fear that the Hunter/the Emissary placed into the Ecliptic on the base. As you proceed through the base, you will eventually reach an anomaly. Walk into it. It will take you to the beginning of your Starfield journey with Lin and Heller in a cave at the Argos Extractors Mining Outpost on Vectera, just before you even touched your first Artifact. Just head towards the Artifact and you will reach an anomaly which will teleport you back to the Ecliptic base and allow you to proceed further. Next you will face off against Guardian Teuta and his army of robots. You can find your way into one of the side rooms to the engineering terminal or head straight up to the overlook where you will find a key to shut down the defenses and move to the next room.
As you head further you will reach a second anomaly. Walk through it. You will arrive back on the Scow and can have another conversation with Captain Petrov. Kill Captain Petrov to take his key to his private quarters and exit the anomaly.. Killing Vadik and the Scow guards is only for optional loot (like ammo).
Head straight into the open mine area. You can quickly collect all the materials with your elemental pull power if you so choose before heading down the elevator. The elevator will drop you into your third anomaly, where you'll see a version of you (the Spacefarer) killed on the assault on The Eye, and Vladimir crying over your alternate body. You can have a chat with Vladimir or even choose to attack and kill him. After you're finished on The Eye, you can leave through the anomaly behind you.
The elevator will continue down until you arrive in the buried temple. There will be a boatload of resources waiting for you before the fight: mines, explosives, ammunition, aid items, levelled weapons, etc (like a Starborn's playground). Guardian Fionn is the next challenge. He will spawn multiple copies of you and all followers (Inner Demon), disappear, then reappear again behind them. Chase Fionn and kill him to make the copies disappear. You can now enter the Buried Temple.
Inside, you will meet whoever you didn't side with. If you chose neutrality, they will both be inside, prepared to fight you. You'll have a chance to persuade them to give up. If you fail you'll have to fight one, the other, or both.
Persuade option[]
You can choose to persuade the Starborn with a speech. You will need to pass a very difficult persuasion check.
Attack option[]
If you chose/were forced to fight, you'll shift though multiple different locations while fighting: The Lodge, the NASA museum, The Well, The Astral Lounge in Neon, the gravity device at Nishina Research Station, Slayton Aerospace on Neon, then back to the NASA Museum where you will fight the Hunter/The Emissary plus duplicates of yourself (and potentially your companion).
Attack option outcome - Kill both[]
Both Starborn will lie dead on the ground in the buried temple. You can collect both of their Artifacts - 5 each, along with their weapons Unmitigated Violence AND Eternity's Gate. As soon as you collect their Artifacts & unique weapons, each will disappear.
Attack option outcome - Kill The Hunter[]
Siding with The Hunter Outcome - Kill the Emissary[]
Neutral outcome/Emissary/Hunter - Kill nobody[]
The Emissary/The Hunter will hand over their (10) Artifacts and teleport away. You will not receive either Starborn's unique weapon.
Rewards[]
- 5000 XP
- All remaining Artifacts
- Unmitigated Violence (mission outcome dependent)
- Eternity's Gate (mission outcome dependent)
Notes/Trivia[]
- If you're Starborn, you will have a free +2 dialogue option to state that you have won before.
