Search and Seizure is a Miscellaneous Mission in Starfield.
Objectives[]
- Read the slate and identify the smuggler's ship

Walkthrough[]
As in previous missions, security on the street reports that Sergeant Yumi wants to see you, and corresponding activity appears. The sergeant suspects possible smuggling on the territory of the spaceport and asks for help with the investigation. First, he will send to obtain information from the technicians at the landing site. After this, you need to get a list of suspicious ships in the Aegis division.
After comparing the information received, you can tell the sergeant the name of the ship. If you point to a ship that does not match the description, you will receive 100 XP and the minimum reward, the mission will be closed. Pointing to the desired ship, Sergeant Yumi will report that at this time this ship is in port and will tell you to check it. After finding a box of contraband in the hold, the captain will approach you with an offer of a bribe of 2500 credits. You can take the money and still attack the ship's crew. Having the Persuasion skill, you can convince the crew to surrender without a fight. During the report, you can keep the box of contraband.
Trivia[]
- The list of suspecious ships contains Huan Daiyu and her ship Jade Swan. Huan Daiyu is indeed a smuggler and works for the Crimson Fleet. The Spacefarer has to work with her during the mission "The Best There Is".
