Detailed Walkthrough[]
Imogene tasks you with influencing a deal so that it fails. You'll be dealing with high level executives in the Astral Lounge, so the job requires a bit more discretion. Two rival companies (Infinity LTD and Quantum Synergies) are looking to work together to compete against Ryujin and the techs failed to figure out until the deal was already planned. The two executives you'll need to speak with are Zola Adisa (Executive Director at Quantum Synergies) and Arthur Cruz (Financial Manager at Quantum Synergies). It is strongly suggested that you read the dossiers to have talking points for each of them.
Some easy persuasion options will not show if you don't read the dossiers. However, if you read them, you will have light blue choices in the persuasion checks with each representative, which guarantees instant successes for each persuasion check.
Head to the Astral Lounge and speak with Zola and Arthur. Use the persuasion options if you read the data slates to ensure you pass the checks. They will both become more hesitant to partner with Infinity LTD after your conversation with them. If you haven't already, grab the skill magazine Neon Nights 02 from the table next to Arthur.
After both execs are convinced, you need to switch the presentation in Nina's Suite. The lock is novice; just make sure not to get caught, then switch the slate on the table. You can also buy the key from the bartender for 4000 credits, or persuade him down to 1000 credits. After finishing these tasks, report back to Imogene at Ryujin Tower.
If you passed the mission with flying colors, you'll also receive a bonus from Linden.
Imogene will introduce the next mission Accidents Happen immediately after this mission wraps up.
