"Don't go any further." I can help if you tell me what happened. "A couple of Spacers docked and started shooting up the place, taking all the goods hostage until someone pays up. You, uh, wouldn't mind helping the Trade Authority out, would you? There's a locked safe in the warehouse. High-end goods. Container's got your name on it if you shoot a few Spacers on your way in and out." I'll get rid of them. "Good. Here's the key. Unlocks a safe in the warehouse. Watch out, it's zero-G." You're not in a position to give me orders. "Keep this code to myslef then." Who's brave enough to rob the Trade Authority? "Pffff, brave? Only a Spacer would be dumb enough to pull this off. I'm surprised their hunk of a ship could even dock." Any civilians still alive? "I doubt it. I heard them clearing house. Expect to get shot on sight, they don't mess around." Are you hurt? "Just a flesh wound. I managed to crawl away after getting hit." After defeating the Spacers and retrieving the contents: "Well look at that, you actually made it back in one piece." You're safe now. "Thanks, I'll just wait for some authorities to arrive to update them on the situation." I've got no problem taking out a couple of Spacers. "I didn't doubt you for a moment." "I sure lucked out when you came aboard! The Trade Authority owes you for this."

"Something I can help you with?" There's a hauler over there who wants to talk to you. "Elijah? Probably lost the hair on the back of his head. I'll go see what it's about." Never mind. "As you were."

"Hey, authorized personnel only." What sort of authorization is needed? "Access to the Command Bay is limited to SY-920 UC military only. No unauthorized personnel. No exceptions." I was asked to bring you this from the Mess Hall. "Ugh, I told Specialist Okoye I like my sandwiches a certain way. Guess we're gonna have to have another talk." There's always an exception. "Right. If you were Admiral Pascual Logan, then yeah, I would wave you on through. But unless you left your chest candy on your other uniform, you're about ten medals short of Admiral." I'll be right back. "Let's hope I see a marine next time." I am authorized. "Only designated SY-920 UC military allowed. You're not even in uniform." - If one wears a uniform: - "State your business." I need to report to the Command Bay for duty. "Logging ensign-level clearance. Go on ahead." Just let me through. "Hey, you got an issue with security procedure, take it up with Commander Natara. Anyways, logging ensign-level clearance."

"All right Ensign, why aren't you at your post? Who is your commanding officer? Only authorized personnel are allowed here." You're my commanding officer. How dare you forget your favorite Ensign? "Stop with the bullshit, it's not funny. Now, if you aren't authorized to be here, I ask that you leave." I apologize. I got lost. Think you can just let me go? "Strange. How are you allowed into the Command Bay if you don't know the area?" You don't outrank me. Are you even authorized to ask me that question? "Stop being evasive and answer the question, Ensign." [Persuade] I report directly to Commander Natara. "Only senior officers report to the Commander. Something doesn't seem right..." "Fine, I'll let you go, Ensign. But as soon as you're done with your task you should return to your post." "You're clearly not authorized to be here. Which can only mean you're an intruder. And we shoot intruders on sight."

And here you are eating rations like we're trapped in a goddamn foxhole." UC Recruit: "I just like the way it tastes. Sorry." SY-920 Engineer: "But rations you like. The food that's literally designed for durability rather than taste." UC Recruit: "Yup." SY-920 Engineer: "Okay, maybe you like how they taste, but it's not healthy to eat rations all day." UC Recruit: "No." SY-920 Engineer: "What do you mean, no?" UC Recruit: "Says right here on the ration box, "equipped with all the nutritional needs for UC forces operating in adverse climates and conditions across the Settled Systems."
