The UC Navigator Corps was a corps of United Colonies' UC Navy. In 2319, Sarah Morgan was promoted to lead the Corps, only for it to be disbanded a year later in 2320.[1] Its exact date of establishment is unknown, but it is known to have run since at least 2312.[2]
Duties[]
The Navigator Corps was a small fleet under the United Colonies Navy, and was created for galactic exploration.[2] After the Colony War ended in 2311, the leadership of the Navy demanded major discoveries in order to justify the existance of the Corps.[2]
While some discoveries were made, such as rare neutron stars, these did not satisfy the discoveries needed to be news-worthy, and thus did not achieve the desired result, as the goal of the discoveries was making people excited for the United Colonies. Failing to do so, the department was shuttered.[2]
